And we also bid farewell to the legendary Tina Turner. The musical legacy of the Goldeneye singer will forever resonate with us.

The beginning of May saw the coronation of King Charles III. To commemorate the event, Ian Fleming Publications appointed Charlie Higson at extremely short notice to write a new Bond adventure. On His Majesty's Secret Service was published on 4th May, having only started writing it in February. That is an insane turnaround but shows the flexibility IFP have now that they are, in effect, self publishing. Hats off to all involved!

Goldeneye singer Tina Turner died at her home in Switzerland aged 83, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the world of music. Born in Tennessee in 1939, she began her career as a teenaged singer
with Ike Turner’s Kings of Rhythm in the late 1950s and rose to fame in the 1960s. After her divorce she continued a solo career, but few expected the fame she achieved in the 1980s.
