The very first item of importance on the list was keeping Sabbath, which shows just how very important the Sabbath is. Even the kingdom work of building the Tabernacle was to stop on the seventh day.
There is no such thing as "sacred" and "secular" in God's kingdom. We are to be set apart in everything we do, whether it's in our daily work or in our weekly rest. No work is too insignificant to count for His kingdom, and no work is too important to override the need for weekly rest.
This week's Torah portion starts with a firm reminder not to ever forget the Sabbath day! We are not to work! We are to set it apart to YHWH.
Some weeks we think that what we do is just too important. How could we possibly stop working for an entire 24 hours?
What if our list doesn't get done?
So each week, our Abba Father gently reminds us that we are human. He tucks us into bed and tells us to rest. All the food is prepared, so He serves it to us with love. We don't even have to do the dishes on this day!
Oh, how He loves us....
