It's An Art & Travel Workshop On Jekyll Island, Georgia!

Come Sketch On The Island, !
Jekyll Island is one of four barrier islands along the coast of the state of Georgia and the perfect playground for those of us who keep an art journal! The island is home to seven beaches and is steeped in a long, quiet history. Old plantations, a historical area of "cottages" (read that as mansions) built by some of the wealthiest families in America and a luxury resort from long ago give this destination a lot of
great places for sketching and journaling.
In addition to Jekyll Island, we will be exploring some of the nearby islands and towns, all with our journals in hand. There might even be a scavenger hunt! We'll have time in the classroom for some lessons as well as one-on-one help so that you come away with a sketchbook full of treasured memories!
We will be visiting in late October in the off-peak season (less crowded) so we can enjoy the beaches and breezes without the crazy-high temperatures (and not quite so many mosquitos). The area is easily reached by three different airports.
If this sounds like your kind of getaway, please click the link below to learn more about the location, and to get registered today!
Please note, spaces are limited as the workshop is half-booked at this time. There is a page of Things To Know Before You Go in the Registration Form that may help you decide if this is the right workshop for you. Please don't hesitate to ask if your question isn't answered.
I hope to see you on Jekyll Island!
