TSW Posts from the Past Week
"As the brain is the processor / distributor of information in the body, then anything that distorts or causes noise in the brain will reduce our ability to connect to Qi / Prana / Source Energy in the cleanest way possible.  The key thing that clogs up the brain is of course our thoughts and emotions.  The best way to reduce that noise is through regular meditation.  Yogis and mystics throughout the ages have travelled via this route to connect to higher states of consciousness."

"Most people go through life suppressing all of this, living on the surface of them-selves through keeping busy and distracted, yet this kind of suppression costs us contact with our soul.  To live a meaningful life where we continue unfolding, we must learn to befriend the empty spaces where we are not controlling the course.  This allows for shedding of old identities, structures and ways of being both internal and external that are no longer true."

"When I am bound inside my own skin and others are bound inside theirs, I have to defend and protect myself from them.  And when I do place myself among them, I must do it carefully, which is hard work, because I am often hurt, opposed, and thwarted by others. But when there’s openness, no boundary between myself and others – when it turns out that I literally am others and others literally are me – then love and connection is easy and natural."

"By now, I’ve come to believe that innerpreneurship might provide not only me, but many of us, with a new model for thinking about work, money, life, and society.  Being an Innerpreneur means you see work not as time out from “real life” but as fertile soil where you deepest ethical and spiritual convictions can flower."

"Over the past quarter of a century, however, I’ve felt a shift in my thinking from a purely psychological or personal-growth emphasis, toward a spiritual orientation where healing, creating miracles, manifesting, and making a connection to divine intelligence are genuine possibilities."

Proactive Access to Knowledge and Wisdom
  • Quantum Entanglement Verified:  An experiment devised by the Griffith University’s Centre for Quantum Dynamics, led by Professor Howard Wiseman and his team of researchers at the university of Tokyo, recently published a paper in the journal Nature Communications.  Wiseman stated that: “This phenomenon is the strongest yet proof of the entanglement of a single particle, an unusual form of quantum entanglement that is being increasingly explored for quantum communication and computation.” In other words, telepathy is real.

  • Is the 3D Universe Just a Hologram? Are we living in a virtual reality world?  A new study from the Institute of Theoretical Physics in Vienna says the data is pointing to that reality (not yet conclusively). According to the "holographic principle" a mathematical description of the Universe actually requires one fewer dimension than it seems. This means that what we perceive as 3-D may in fact just be the image of 2-D processes on a huge cosmic horizon.  Or, as former NASA physicist Tom Campbell puts it "Human Consciousness and our Physical Reality is a Virtual Reality training ground.  Once you understand that, you cannot view the world the same.  Or as Jesus said, in the world, but not of it.”

  • Seeking the Sacred in Science. Can science and religion co-exist? What is the meaning of the universe? Find the answers in this inspiring video and dynamic dialogue between renowned quantum physicist, Menas Kafatos, and science/religion scholar, Jay Kumar as they explore how scientific inquiry and spiritual faith might achieve unity for an awakened and empowered humanity.
Quotes of the Week
  • “The spiritual journey does not consist in arriving at a new destination where a person gains what he did not have, or becomes what he is not. It consists in the dissipation of one’s own ignorance concerning one’s self and life, and the gradual growth of that understanding which begins the spiritual awakening. The finding of God is a coming to one’s self.” - Aldous Huxley
  • “Physics has advanced to demonstrate that we live in a domain that is fully interconnected,” IONS Chief Scientist Dean Radin explained during a recent interview on New Human Living Radio. “If there’s some intrinsic inside self, and in particular, if that self is connected in some way to the rest of the universe, then suggestions like the Golden Rule suddenly take on an entirely different meaning, because if you’re interconnected with other people, the entire reason you do the Golden Rule, and you treat others as you would treat yourself is because from that perspective, some aspect of other people actually is your self! It’s not separate, it’s not meaningless, but we’re in this together. Your behavior changes as a result.”
  • "In spite of illness, in spite even of the arch-enemy sorrow, one can remain alive long past the usual date of disintegration if one is unafraid of change, insatiable in intellectual curiosity, interested in big things, and happy in small ways.”  Edith Wharton

  • “Warfare and violence are at least already eight centuries late in vanishing from this world.  And we are reaching a point where we are no longer free to play that ancient game.  The government puts vast amounts of money into the military -- that has to stop.  Those kinds of resources have got to be put into feeding everyone, educating everyone and making this world a far better place.  It is all about everyone being lifted up, all people living in harmony, us all taking care of children that haven’t got enough to eat because they are all our children.  And we need to see it that way, that our consciousness is truly one and its deepest level is the divine.  More and more people are getting this message.” - Dr. Eben Alexander, Neurosurgeon, Near-Death Survivor, and author of Proof of Heaven

  • Optimism is not a zero-sum game.  Optimism just produces life, ever more life.  The Optimist is not the winner in the traditional sense.  The optimist is not the one who defeats the pessimist.  Optimism has nothing to do with the culture of competition that so deeply undermines modern society.  There’s a big difference between competing at the expense of another and overcoming challenges that make you wiser, more loving, and compassionate, and a more whole human being.  The battle is with yourself, not with the other.  The optimist is the winner in that personal battle.  And her hard-fought victory of resilience, her gain of wisdom and understanding is victory for all.  - Juriaan Kamp, author of the Intelligent Optimist’s Guide to Life

  • "We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are." - Anais Nin

Question to Ponder for the Week
How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy?
