Where did February go? In this March issue, I'll show you how Pinterest can be useful for your home or any area of your life for that matter. In Happy Hunting you'll find how to get money by not spending it in the first place. I hope you find this useful and I look forward to your comments.

What is Pinterest and How Can I Use It?

I posted an article and video on my website about Pinterest, but here is a quick summary. It's an online bulletin board where you can post the cool things you find online. Then you can find them again latter or organize them for visual inspiration. It also has a social aspect to it via following people or boards, but I mostly use it for the first purpose.

To give you an idea of the things you can find on Pinterest, I found two things that might interest you.

The first one is directions for making a cute and useful shelf/box. You'll have to scroll about ½ way down Jen's post to see the finished product. I'm seriously considering this for one of my bathrooms

Its been a while since I sent you a recipe, so I thought I'd look for one of those. I chose this Pineapple Curry Fried Rice as I want to incorporate more curry in my diet because of its health benefits. When I make it, I'll change the tofu to chicken and I'll use canned pineapple instead of fresh and a little less red pepper.

I hope you enjoy these two finds. If you decide to join Pinterest, and want to follow any of my boards here is my profile If you're already on Pinterest, leave a comment on the Pinterest post with how you use Pinterest and your user id.

Happy Hunting - Deals

Save By Not Spending

Better than finding a good deal, is saving your money for _____, fill-in the blank, it could be retirement, college, a home, a car, etc. With all the things that are in our face to tempt use, sales, ads, fast food, lattes, etc., it's easy to nickle and dime ourselves to death.  I posted an article by Tawra Kellam called 11 Tips for Frugal Living. I hope you'll check it out and leave a comment letting me know which tip you found most useful or share a tip that helps you save money.
