A few of the trees at my Dad's place.
Oops! This was supposed to go out last month but for some reason didn't.

This months newsletter is going to be brief. Currently I'm in the desert with my aunt, dealing with my Dad's estate. Lord willing we'll get it all cleaned out this week and ready to sell. I'm writing this EARLY in the morning, unable to sleep for the second night in a row. Hopefully I can get this done before its time to do yard work and start sorting again.. At the beginning of the month my husband and I finally got to take a trip for our 25th anniversary, one year late, and were in London.I'm working on a video of that and will send you a link as soon as it's finished. In the mean time you can find a few posted here.

In this edition I'm sharing about a book I'm reading and where you can get free books. An update on the first paragraph, I didn't finish this before yard work or get back to it while I was in the desert. I was too tired by the end of the day. I did finish cleaning out the house with the help of my Auntie Maggie and some good people in Pahrump, NV.So I'll be listing it soon.  If you know anyone who would like a nice place with lots of trees in the middle of the desert, send them my way.

My Ongoing Battle With Clutter

If you don't struggle with this, please read anyway, I'm sure there are those in your life who do and this may be helpful for them.

I recently picked up Winning the Clutter War , by Sandra Felton, for my kindle. I read one of her books years ago. So far, I've read Part 1 Help! House Out of Control! and Part 2 Turning Things Around. These sections deal with the whys, many of which I could relate to. Such as, saving things from the past, these "things" keep some of us connected to the past and the memories from it. Also, saving for the future, I might need that someday, and much more. She also gives ideas on how to change that thinking. Having struggled in these areas and gaining victory Sandra shares from here unique perspective. I'm hoping knowing the whys will make it easier for me to set aside time weekly to declutter and will make it easier for me to let things go. As I read the last section and implement things, I'll let you know how it goes. In the mean time you can click the link above and check it out for yourself or someone else.
