What makes someone a guru?
Answer: Disciple of a Bona Fide Guru
When one is an obedient disciple of a bona fide spiritual master who is coming in an authorized line of disciplic succession going back to God Himself and has been ordered by his spiritual master to also become a spiritual master he can then take up the service of being a bona fide spiritual master. Otherwise he is bogus like the so many other bogus spiritual masters who are flooding the world nowadays.
