My dear , if we want to realize the imports of the great Vedic knowledge, we must make sure to obey this injunction found in Chapter 6, Verse 23 of the Śvetāśvatara Upaniṣad:
yasya deve parā bhaktir
yathā deve tathā gurau
tasyaite kathitā hy arthāḥ
prakāśante mahātmanaḥ
"Only unto those great souls who have implicit faith in both the Lord and the spiritual master are all the imports of Vedic knowledge automatically revealed."
In this connection Srila Prabhupada further explains in his purport to Srimad Bhagavatam, Fourth Canto, Chapter 24, Text 52 as follows:
"The Lord is the supreme spiritual master, and the bona fide representative of the Supreme Lord is also a spiritual master. The Lord from within enlightens the devotees by the effulgence of the nails of His lotus feet, and His representative, the spiritual master, enlightens from without. Only by thinking of the lotus feet of the Lord and always taking the spiritual master's advice
can one advance in spiritual life and understand Vedic knowledge."
Let us all now be intelligent and do just that. When we realize the Vedic knowledge we gain perfect knowledge of everything. And when we apply the Vedic knowledge our lives become unlimitedly successful.
