We Must Become Pure Devotees to Fully Taste the Bliss of Krishna Consciousness
My dear , we stop foolishly torturing ourselves by holding onto our material attachments. By doing so we are only prolonging our misery. If we will give all of our love to Krishna without holding anything back, we will enter into the real of unlimited happiness. In this connection Lord Ṛṣabhadeva tells His sons as follows in the Srimad Bhagavatam, Fifth Canto, Chapter 5, Text 1:
ṛṣabha uvāca
nāyaṁ deho deha-bhājāṁ nṛloke
kaṣṭān kāmān arhate viḍ-bhujāṁ ye
tapo divyaṁ putrakā yena sattvaṁ
śuddhyed yasmād brahma-saukhyaṁ tv anantam
"My dear sons, there is no reason to labor very hard for sense pleasure while in this human form of life; such pleasures are available to the stool-eaters [hogs]. Rather, you should undergo penances in this life by which your existence will be purified, and as a result you will be able to enjoy unlimited transcendental bliss which is transcendental to material happiness and which continues forever.."
So what are we waiting for? We should fully surrender to Krishna right now.
