Vyasa Puja is fast approaching!

Vyasa Puja means the birthday of the spiritual master, literally means, "respectful celebration in honor of a person purely representing Veda Vyasa, who compiled the Vedic literature.

The Vyasa Puja is an important event for anyone who benefits from or appreciates the efforts of a spiritual master in the disciplic succession. There will be many individual Vyasa Puja celebrations around the world, organized and attended by disciples, students, and well-wishers. Please take advantage of this golden opportunity.

It is our great privilege to inform and invite you to celebrate His Grace Sriman Sankarshan Das Adhikari's 2022 Vyasa Puja - The celebration is on Thursday 20 ^th October in Vrindavan, India. The actual Vyasa Puja day is, depending on where you live, either 19 ^th October or 20^th October. An easy way to find out the specific day is to look at the Vaishnava calendar for the month of Kartik – the day before the first Ekadashi in Kartik. In other words, Srila Sankarshan Das Adhikari Appearance Day is on the tenth day, Dasami, of the most holy month of Kartik. This is Vyasa Puja day.

Special Note: Fasting day for disciples and well-wishers is actually Vyasa Puja Day as per the Vaishnava calendar in your location, but you can celebrate with students, disciples, and well-wishers as planned locally.

 It is very auspicious for one’s spiritual progress to render some special service to the spiritual master on the occasion of His Vyasa Puja. This is an expression of gratitude and some loving reciprocation with the spiritual master.

These are some ways how you could serve... (there are many more ways to serve)

1. Write a Vyasa Puja offering. Anyone may write a Vyasa Puja offering, and offer their heartfelt words of appreciation to the spiritual master. If you have not written a Vyasa Puja offering before, you may write to us for more information.

Please note that for your offering to be included in the official Vyasa Puja eBook, they must be received through this form ( https://forms.gle/WaqjeHBNKYAZ1U3p6) before Saturday 15^th Oct 2022 . Please address your offering to Srila Gurudev only and not to Srila Prabhupada and be mindful of proper salutation. If you have any questions, please write to us at  [email protected]. Please DO NOT email Srila Gurudeva directly your offerings if you wish to have your offerings published in the official Vyasa Puja eBook.

Time flies do not delay, write your offering now, and send it off as soon as possible.

You will receive an acknowledgment of receipt. If you do not get confirmation within an hour or so of submitting your offering, then there was probably an error in the email address, please resubmit your offering with your correct email address, as it was likely not received properly. If you have already sent your offering and have received the acknowledgment, great - your offering will be included.

There is no language barrier. The main thing is that you kindly write your offering and send it to us for the Vyasa Puja ebook. If you use a language other than English, we will try to translate the offering to English, preserving the original text as far as possible. ( If you know a student or well-wisher of Srila Gurudev who would like to write their offering please encourage them and help translate from the local language)

2. Enthusiastically attend, serve at, or yourself conduct a Vyasa Puja celebration, either locally or in another location, whatever works best for you. If you are planning to attend, serve, or conduct a Vyasa Puja, Jai, thank you very much! (Please be mindful of local restrictions due to Pandemic)

3.
