Recently I bought a neem Japa Mala for chanting. I was told that it attracts negative energy and it is not advisable to chant on neem mala.
Can you please clarify if it is fine to chant on neem
mala or not? Hare Krishna!

I don't know who is manufacturing such concocted ideas. I've been chanting on neem for 53 years because Srila Prabhupada gave me neem beads to chant on.
