MOSAIC MOMENTS® PRESENTS:
"July 2012" by Paije Potter
Hello
Cue the country music and the fireworks!
July's photo checklist includes such a fun variety of things: quilt shows, county fairs, water sports, and road trips; but, the best of all, are friends and family celebrating with food and fireworks on Independence Day.
Hope you enjoy the sneak peek of the new Wilber Die (inspired by those county fair quilts - see below).
Be sure to check out the page inspiration provided by our wonderful design team - and, if you like what you see and want more, click on the links provided in our "More Fourth of July Ideas" section.
Have a You're-worth-it Week!

Wilber Die Set
"Fourth of July at Water Country" by Paije Potter - Pattern #534
Like the winner of the County Fair Quilts, the new Wilber dies will inspire your patriotic and summer layouts.
The die set includes a 2x2 die that has four clusters of eight mini kite shaped pieces. The four 1x1 dies each have one cluster. You'll be able to give each kite petal a different color or use a background piece to keep them all the same shade. As you can see above, Paije gave the Wilber dies a patriotic look with blues
and red.
We can't wait to see how you'll use the new Wilber Die Set this Fourth of July!
"Fourth of July Picnic" by Jodi Benson - Pattern #566
Food, Family, & Friends + America = Fabulous Scrapbooking for the 4th of July!
Jodi's lively photos of a patriotic picnic with family and friends worked with Pattern #566. The pattern allowed her to give the layout the structure it needed with patterned paper design spots, since she had a lot of busy pics. Two corners of her layout have two 1x2 plaid strips and a green grassy 1x1 piece. Then she created a 4x4 section with the same paper with
a 2x2 picnic patterned paper center.
This page celebrates our patriotic picnic tradition, try it for your 4th of July cookout!
Not only is the Nantucket Collection our 'Grid of the Month', but it also works perfectly for patriotic layouts.
Red Tides 12x12 grid paper is a textured subtle red, and Paije used it for her photos of this naval ship. She used grey shades of card-stock to complement the vessel, but you can clearly imagine what it would look like with blue and white accents. Either way, this is a fine example of a patriotic layout you can
scraplift.
The fourth is the time to celebrate the men and women who continue to keep us free with Nantucket 12x12 grid paper!
Are you bursting with excitement for the fireworks layouts you'll make this Independence Day?
The Strips Dies are a dynamic choice for your firework photos. They come in 1x2, 1x3, 1x4 , and 1x5 sizes which fit the grid. You can mix and match, like Paije did above. She used the 1x3 and 1x4 size strips dies to surround the top of her 4x6 focal photo matted with the grid-less side of Red Tides 12x12 grid
paper.
Just as exciting, as Strips dies for the 4th, is the Mosaic Moments® Independence Day Sale:
