MOSAIC MOMENTS® PRESENTS:
Hello
Do you like surprises?
I'm not surprised very often; so, I think I enjoy it when I am. That, of course, is with the
presumption it is a good surprise. (I mean who wants to get a bad surprise?)
I especially enjoy the surprises that come from our Mosaic Moments Design Team. It is so fun when they use the dies I've designed and make pages even better than I imagined with them. For me, it's a
magical moment.
That is exactly how I felt when I saw the pages they created with our new Glasgow dies. Be sure to scroll to the end of this one, because you are going to love each and every page!
Have a you're-worth-it week!

Sneak Peak at the NEW Glasgow 3x4 Die!
"Beautiful Bloomington 2" by Jodi Benson - Pattern #344
Jodi used the NEW 3x4Glasgow above, and look how fabulous it is!
She placed them around the focal photo of her daughter's family. She filled the new die's design spots closest to the focal photo with map pattern paper, so it creates a diamond shape. She also added red paper to the tiny center diamond of the Glasgow die, which sets off the large diamond shape. Plus, they
highlight the red blooms she captured.
The New Glasgow die looks like it'll be just as fun to use as the other Amazing Adventure dies!
Jodi used NEW Glasgow 3x4 and 3x3 die set on this travel layout.
She filled all of the center diamonds with striped pattern paper and the rest of the design spots with amazing landscape photos. It creates an awe-inspiring row on this page.
Both the Glasgow 3x4 and 3x3 have lines that connect and can create wonderful patterns!
Paije took both Glasgow dies from the set and made a stained glass window frame for her focal photo.
By using blue patterned paper and small photos, she created an unusual mosaic pattern that is rich with color and interest. The 3x4 dies have two small diamonds filled with photos, and the 3x3 dies have one diamond shape cropping a photo. She put similar apple photos in the design spots closest to the focal photo in the same way Jodi used the map paper in the first example
above.
In the tiny diamonds of the 3x4 Glasgow die, Paije put in a golden pattern paper - the same paper she tucked behind the focal photo to give it a little extra emphasis and detail.
"Together at Bear Lake" by Paije Potter - Pattern #392
Paije shows you how the Glasgow dies can work with the every day vacation, reunion, and travel photos you have.
You don't need professional photos to use these Adventure dies. For this layout Paije used only the Glasgow 3x3. She put four of them together in the center of her page. She used a landscape photo for the outside design spots of the dies and in the center she cropped photos of each family member.
While these dies are great for your family vacation photos, they will work with just about any subject!
The New Glasgow dies are no
exception. Whether you are a beginner, new to Mosaic Moments® or are just looking for new inspiration - know that you have what it takes to use these fun dies and make amazing professional-looking designed pages. You can start by using the designers' example pages and scrap-lifting their ideas. Or just take some time to plan out your layouts.
Planning is part of the process and can be just as fun as that final step of gluing your elements down on the grid.
