MOSAIC MOMENTS® PRESENTS:
"Fun Beach Waves" by Paije Potter
Hello
Even though I love fall, I wish I could "push pause" before summer comes to an end.
It always seems like day to
day chores get in the way of my summer plans. I find myself in a panic when the end is near... Wait! I didn't get in all of the important summer activities. Did I spent enough time at Water Country? or eat enough watermelon? (I am pretty sure I could never get enough watermelon.)
Thank goodness we have albums of beautiful summer memories to keep us basking in the sun well into winter!
But, don't throw out that summer photo checklist yet. We have a few more weekends to fit in some sunshine before the leaves start falling.
Have a your worth it week,
Tami Potter

Fun End of Summer Colors to Try!
"Christmas Meadows Lake" by Jodi Benson - Pattern #190
Try a new color scheme you have never done before!
Jodi designed this gorgeous mountain lake layout in bright purple and blue hues that contrast and set off the bright green grass in her photos. The purple card-stock also accentuates the purple flowers and clothing in her photos. We don't usually use this color combo for outdoor pages, but this layout is so delightful - we love it!
Be adventurous - try a bright color (like purple) that you haven't used before on your end of summer travel layouts.
"Morning Walk in Corolla" by Paije Potter - Pattern #749
Take your camera on your end of summer walks to capture the interesting things you see.
It may give you incentive to walk more. It definitely will give you photos to scrapbook! Paije created this gorgeous layout full of beach wildlife from her walk in the Outer Banks. She tore a small piece of her pattern paper to give her selfie photo texture, and it balances the journaling placed bottom right mat. She used that same pattern paper behind her Sea Turtle 2x2 die cut and the coral borders from her Under the Sea Die Set.
The little pop of coral colored card-stock under the dies and mats give the layout that much more interest.
Like the sunset, the end of the summer activities are precious.
Take photos of those gorgeous sunsets and create pages like Jodi did, above.
She chose the perfect grid color, Faith from Happiness Collection, to match those gorgeous pink tones of this southern beach sunset. Then she chose aqua pattern paper that matches her subject's shirt, but also creates a
wonderful contrast to all of the pink of the layout.
Notice how she used the Whale of a Tale Die to make a "parenthesis" on either side of her 4x4 photos? This balances with the same die next to her two 4x5 vertical photos.
The end of the summer is a great chance to get those last wonderful memories scrapbooked.
Soak
up all of the fun left in the summer. Treat yourself before fall sets in and all of the seasonal hullabaloo that will begin. Pick up some of the dies and paper we have shown and try out these amazing pages!
Happy Scrappin'
