MOSAIC MOMENTS® PRESENTS:
"All Bundled Up" by Jodi Benson
Hello
If you take a lot of photos, like I do, you probably like to bundle your photos into two page spreads.
My best tips for unifying a two page spread:
Use the same grid colors, cardstock,
& patterned papers on both pages.
Use the same dies (or complementary dies).
Do not use the exact same page pattern. Exception: many patterns work great mirrored or flipped for the second page.
Take a look at the design team's pages for great inspiration, and don't miss the article links for more two page layout ideas.
Prepare to Bundle Up this Friday. 🥶 😉 Scroll down for more info.
Have a you're-worth-it week!

Two Page Spread Framed for Winter
"All Bundled Up" (Side A) by Jodi Benson - Pattern #861
One of our favorite ways to scrapbook our photos is with a two page spread.
Jodi made this two page layout by first picking two different patterns that felt right for her snowy photos. She then printed her photos out and made sure they would still work with her patterns and filled in the extra design spots with the pattern paper she chose to complement her photos. She picked a cardstock and grid paper that would show off her pictures and look nice with the winter patterned paper.
She knew she wanted to really draw attention to her sweet granddaughter's face so she chose the Scallop Frames dies to frame her cutie.
"All Bundled Up" (Full Spread) by Jodi Benson - Pattern #861 & #773
Here you can see the completed two page layout.
You can see the final touches Jodi added - the year and snowflakes. It may feel like there are many decisions to make,
but once you bring all of your small choices together you can see how they make wow pages.
Try using this same two page layout with your own snowy pictures and pattern paper.
"Respect for Gettysburg" (Side A) by Jodi Benson - Pattern #866
The Perfect Spot die set allows you to make a mosaic out of one photo and put a small circle of another item of interest in the center.
Jodi gave each "square" photo a black mat. She created a center design with patterned paper and a star from the Perfect Spot Inserts die set.
"Respect for Gettysburg" (Full Spread) by Jodi Benson - Pattern #866 & #862
The second page has the same framed corners with pattern paper in 1x4.375 inch strips and a 1 inch square of black cardstock. This is a repeated design choice from the first page, which ties the two pages together.
Jodi also used the Perfect Spot dies to create two chunky mosaics and placed stars in the corners. The two pages are very different layouts, but Jodi used similar elements, so they really go well together. You can easily recreate this two page spread with your own photos. Just choose different colors to go with your pictures and a different insert like the heart, word "love", or word "smile" - whichever
will go better with your theme.
We will be offering limited time die bundles for 30-35% off. All the dies
featured in today's email will be on sale, and there will be more! Note: individual dies will not be on sale - all die deals will be offered as a bundle only.
Mark you calendar: Sale Starts Friday (Jan. 13) at 9am EST on Snapncrop.com!
Inclined to Love Two Page Layouts with Angles Dies
"Natural History" (Side B) by Paije Potter - Pattern #544
Have you tried using the Angles dies to make a two page spread?
There are two dies, Angles 2x4 and Angles 2x6, and they look great as a two page layout. Above, Angles 2x4 is shown as book ends to two matted photos of the Natural History Museum. Paije filled her Angles dies with photos of geodes and other rocks/minerals on display at the museum which gives the page a nice texture, and it almost looks like patterned
paper!
"Natural History" (Full Spread) by Paije Potter - Pattern #473 & #544
Paije did the same for her first page with the Angles 2x6 die.
They are filled with geode and mineral photos, but this time she arranged the dies around a center mosaic
of nine 2.125 x 2.125 inch photos. Because she has a row of 2.125x2.125 inch (2x2 grid size) photos on the second page, this really ties the two pages together. The first page is completed by filling the four corners with 2x2 photos on the grid, and you have another two page spread you can easily make your own.
If you don't have as many photos as Paije, you can always use patterned paper that goes with your photos and theme.
