MOSAIC MOMENTS® PRESENTS:
"Chloe's 1st Spring" by Paije Potter
Hello
Serendipity is the concept of finding something unexpected while looking for something else.
I named our die
serendipity because it is unexpected. It looks complex - but it is so simple to use. And who would ever guess that there are so many different looks you can make with it!
Now, Serendipity has two complementary dies! The NEW Sequel and Crossed
dies will give you even more unexpectedly wonderful design options! Take a look at how our design team used them below.
They will be available starting this Friday. (Watch for an email with a special deal.)
Have a you're-worth-it week!

Sneak Peek of the NEW Serendipity Complementary Dies
"By the Sea" (Side A) by Jodi Benson - Pattern #431
The Serendipity Die has been making waves since it was first released.
So, it shouldn't surprise you how great the dies look on a beach layout. Jodi paired her first page with the 5x5 Serendipity die with the NEW Sequel 2x2 die on her second page. She placed four of the 2x2 dies in the center of her page to make a 4x4 design section that complements the Serendipity dies on the first layout.
"By the Sea" (FULL) by Jodi Benson - Pattern #431 & #438
Notice how she used both cardstock and pattern paper.
Do you see how she filled the outside corners of both the large Serendipity and the smaller Sequel die cuts with coral pattern paper? And again, filled similar sections of each the larger and smaller dies with navy and rust colored cardstock colors. This brings unity and balance to the pages. Your eye loves to move around both of the pages noticing the differences - including the photos!
This is one way to create interest and make a 'wow' page.
Check Out the NEW Crossed 2x2 Die (Coming Friday):
"Make a Wish" by Jodi Benson
Doesn't the NEW
Crossed 2x2 Die look like a tiny Serendipity die?
As you can see, it can be used all on its own to embellish your pages. Or you can imagine how fun it would be to pair with the Serendipity Die.
Jodi used a dandelion pattern paper to fill the center four sections of the new die then added a bright yellow cardstock to the corners to make this die really pop. The bright yellow contrasts with the grays and blacks on the page bring out the yellow tones in the photos. This is a layout you could easily use for any photos you have, and you can change up the colors to match.
Four simple squares become one fabulous page with the Serendipity Dies. There is little doubt that…
Serendipity Dies Are Made for Travel Layouts
"Trip Across America" (Side A) by Paije Potter - Pattern #431
The Serendipity Dies are wonderful for travel layouts because you can fit lots of extra pics in the design spots.
Paije fit long distance road, sky, and landscape pictures in the Serendipity's corners. Each corner section that meets another corner is a tiny mosaic. She used the same technique on the second page of her two page layout with the NEW Sequel 2x2 die.
"Trip Across America" (Side B) by Paije Potter - Pattern #438
The NEW Sequel 2x2 Die in the middle section of the page above has a similar look to the Serendipity die. Paije added a little circle to the center of the four new dies
with a star for embellishment. If you remember, Jodi did something similar with a square and corals (top).
The NEW Sequel 2x2 and NEW Crossed 2x2 dies are must have complementary dies if you love the Serendipity Die.
