MOSAIC MOMENTS® PRESENTS:
"Relax" by Jodi Benson
Hello
Father's Day is almost here, and it's the perfect time to share scrapbook pages dedicated to the special men in our lives.
Whether it's your own father, your husband, a son who is a new dad, or a father figure who has had a positive impact on your life, there are many ways to show them appreciation through scrapbooking.
Here are some ideas to get you inspired:
Childhood Memories: Create a scrapbook page filled with pictures of you and your father from when you were a child.
Father and Child: Create a scrapbook page dedicated to the bond between a father and child.
Father's Hobbies: If your father has a particular hobby or interest, create a scrapbook page that highlights it.
Generations: If you have pictures of your father with his father or grandfather, create a scrapbook page that celebrates the generations of fathers in your family.
With these ideas, I hope you'll be well on your way to creating beautiful pages that celebrate the special fathers in your life.
As always, have a you're-worth-it week!

Give a Layout That Dads Will Love
"Father's Day 2021" by Lauren Jones - Pattern #662
Mosaic Moments® layouts make the most precious gifts, and this layout from Lauren is definitely one dads will love!
She used a nice dark wood grain 12x12 grid paper, Cabin Wood, for the base of the page that keeps all of her elements professionally aligned. Then, she used two dark colors, green and blue, for the mats and for her embellishing 1x1" Discovery Dies - Explore Level (L1) Dies. Then, she gathered all of her favorite photos of her husband with their kids. She included pictures from when the kids were babies until the present (of 2021). She
even placed the photos so they are chronologically ordered from the top to the bottom. She put the baby pictures of dad and each newborn at the top of her layout. The bottom pics are of dad and each kid, the age they were in 2021. Her lightest photo became her focal 4x4 picture, and she double matted it with a light ivory cardstock which makes the picture stand out even more.
It's a great shot of her son and husband fishing on the bank together. So sweet!
This is definitely a layout you can frame and hang on a wall.
Dads love adventure and sometimes the best dies to use on these type layouts are Adventure Level Dies (L3) like the Double X Factor.
Paije used the Double X Factor die to frame her layout of her dad getting his moped/motorcycle. Inside of each die she found an ombré brick pattern paper that closely resembles her 12x12 Daytime Grid Paper from the Ombré Collection. And inside the 2x6 die, she cropped a detailed photo of the store to fit the center diamond spot of the die. For the 2x6 die outline, she used a bright blue card-stock to contrast and to really
stand out on her page.
All of these decisions - the grid color, the die, the die color card-stock, the pattern paper, and the photos make this a high adventure and masculine layout that dads will love.
We can tell you absolutely, that the Horizon Discover Level (L2) dies are perfect for your outdoor rock climbs.
If your dad loves to hang from a cliff, make him a page like Jodi did, above. The circle of the Horizon dies makes a wonderful place to fill your rock climbing photos. The contrast of the smooth circle with the jagged rock and mountain builds even more interest to already fascinating photos. Don't you love how she used the dies and photos to frame her un-cropped, matted, 4x6 focal photo of her son reaching the top of the precipice? This is a great
adventure page -- this time with Discover Level Dies (L2).
If you made a Horizon layout like this, it would make a fabulous gift for Father's Day!
