Take Time with the Adventure Level
"Kananaskis Golf Course" by Jodi Benson - Pattern #477
Adventure Level (L3) dies are not more difficult to use than the other levels. They just need a little more time to craft, so the results can look like they are a 'hole in one'!
Jodi created this stand-out golfing layout with the Crisscross Dies (L3). Jodi took time to arrange her layout so the die shapes and photos are balanced and interesting. She also cropped her photos - especially the middle pictures, so the horizon or the mountain ranges line up. This
created an epic look to her page. We can see the extra time Jodi took to plan her pictures and Adventure Level dies was well spent.
You too can easily create this layout with your pictures - so relax, give yourself a "waggle" (shake it out), and 'take a shot' at the Crisscross Dies!
"Our Trip in Maine" by Paije Potter - Pattern #431
No photo left behind, seems a fitting motto for the Windsor Die.
With one 5x5 die you have twelve design spots. Fill them all with single images or crop one photo into a multiple triangles or diamonds to create stunning designs.
Paije used pattern paper to create a large diamond shape around her layout (above).
She also cropped one photo in the center layout to form a smaller diamond. The other adjacent triangles and diamonds were cropped from one picture.
We think you 'get the picture' that every photo is important and has a spot with L3 dies!
Like an eagle eye, you can zoom in and highlight fascinating objects from your trips with Adventure Level (L3) Dies.
In this case, the fascinating object is a family of Ospreys and their nest. Paije used the Around
& Around die to crop her nesting photos in circles so they stand out against other landscape shots. Many Level 3 dies have similar features that let you show off the elements that brought you joy or that you found especially exciting on your scrapbook layout.
Adventure Dies and interesting elements in your photos go together like a seabird to
water.
