Of course I could be talking about key lime, or chocolate, or coconut cream (all pies are delicious!) However, in this case I'm talking about
a certain Quarter Pie die. I love how effortlessly the Quarter Pie turns my photos into a cohesive design.
I can use the Quarter Pie to tell a story from a single hour or day, or let it provide a summary of a month, a season, or a year.
Earlier this year we introduced a complementary die to the Quarter Pie, the equally loveable 3x3 Small Pie. Now we are adding an adorable 2x2 Mini Pie to the family. You can see a sneak peek of how our design team used the Mini Pie below.
And be sure to check your email and join us on Snapncrop.com for a special offer this Thanksgiving Day - because there is ALWAYS room for pie!
Have a you're-worth-it week!

Try Splitting the Pie Dies
"Apple Picking 2023" by Jodi Benson - Pattern #927
Jodi created this layout that uses only two Quarter Pie die cuts which she split across from each other giving her layout a fun new look.
She filled her pie slices with the fruit, apple tree leaves, and her family walking through the orchard in each slice. This repetition of similar shots in each die slice gives the layout balance. In the spots where you would normally put more pie dies to complete the pie circle, Jodi has
two 4x5 matted photos and ten 1x1 photos. She was able to resize her pictures to 1x1 inches and include almost all of her apple orchard photos!
This is an incredible Quarter Pie Die layout you have to try for your fall photos.
The NEWMini Pie is a 2x2 die that can create a pie shape within a 4x4 section of the grid when you put four dies
together.
Each die has three pie slices that you can fill with your photos or paper. Jodi filled hers with colorful pumpkins, flowers, and leaves from the pumpkin patch she visited with her family. The Mini Pie would be great for a complementary page to the Quarter
Pie Die or the Small Pie 3x3 Die as they make the same sliced pie shape.
It's great for pumpkin picking or other harvest and fall layouts.

Try Creating a Fan of Photos on Top of Your Layout
"Fall Walk in Yorktown" by Paije Potter - Pattern #908
Another interesting way to use the Quarter Pie Die is to create a fan-like shape with two Quarter Pie Die cuts at the top of your layout.
Paije designed this and filled her pie slices with shots of area attractions, fall foliage, and pics of her and Sadie walking. To create balance, she mirrored similar shots across the two pie sections. On the lower half of her layout, Paije has "wow" shots of Sadie and a large focal photo
of her and Sadie on their walk about Yorktown. She added handwritten journaling detailing her and Sadie's experiences on the trip, which she matted in the same colorful fall pattern paper as she used in the corner sections of her Quarter Pie dies.
Try this layout with the
Quarter Pie die for a fall trip you have taken.
