Hey you!   This is a quick announcement that I hope you find really really relevant.  I'll be on #periscope discussing this later this morning (10:30 AM EST) but it's all about haters and hate mail... and, of course, your business. 

I received a somewhat humorous "hate e-mail" yesterday that I hope you'll enjoy hearing about.  You see, this "hater" happens to be 100% correct in his assessment of what he's "calling me out on."  But, he's still wrong. =)  

Truth be told, hate mail is something that happens when you raise your flag and expose yourself to bigger opportunities. It just happens and WHEN it happens,  it should be a great reminder to you that you're climbing higher, attracting attention, and "haters" simply come along for the ride. My hope is that you -- like me -- laugh it off.  Learn from it, sure... when there's a lesson worth learning.  But, mainly laugh it off. Tuck it in your hat as "evidence" that you're heading in the right direction.

I'll be the first to say that I don't have a legitimate Instagram account. (I have one used to spy on my kids.) I don't have a pinterest account.  I never signed on for that other platform that Gary Vaynerchuk was once heavily promoting.  I simply am NOT an early adopter when it comes to social media.  Many times, I don't adopt new platforms at all.  BUT, periscope is exciting to me for some reason. I LOVE the "live" and unscripted and unpolished nature of it.  If you've not done so already, check it out.
