[Writers' Huddle] Chatroom discussion tomorrow; Three years ago; Four years ago

Published: Mon, 10/30/17

Hello!

How's your writing going?

I've had a bit of a break from writing over the past few days ... Paul and I went to see Thor: Ragnarok (gloriously fun) on Friday night, and headed over to Manchester to see Metallica live (EPIC! :-D) on Saturday.

I seem to be at a line editing / proofreading stage with my three current book-length projects, so I'm hoping to do a bit of fresh writing this week ... I'm starting to miss writing new words!

Whatever you're up to, writing wise, do feel free to come and share your triumphs and your struggles with us in the forums:

In today's email:
- Chatroom hour now Tuesday 8PM - 9PM
- Three Years Ago: Ten Novel-Writing Lessons Learned the Hard Way
- Four Years Ago: Handling Viewpoint in Fiction

Chatroom hour now Tuesday 8PM - 9PM
Big thanks to everyone who filled out the survey about the Chatroom! It looks like 8pm - 9pm (UK time) on Tuesdays suits most people, so we'll be having the chats then from now on.

Tomorrow evening, since it's Hallowe'en, we'll be talking about writing fears. Bring your scariest ones to share with us! If you can't make the whole hour, feel free to drop in and out, too.

You can find the chatroom here: www.writershuddle.com/chat

Four Years Ago: Handling Viewpoint in Fiction
For more ground-level writing advice to help with that NaNo novel, here's our seminar from four years ago, covering using point of view in your stories.
