Blog On - Week Two Begins Today

Week two of the Blog On course starts today! If you're taking part, look out for your separate Blog On email heading to your inbox in a few hours... :-)

Though we've already begun the course and I've closed the doors to the public, existing Huddlers can join at $19.99 until the end of this week. Head here to get the half-price rate:

(If you want to know more about Blog On first, you can get full details at www.writershuddle.com/about-blog-on)

Don't forget that if you're an alumni member (you joined before June 2017), Blog On is already included in your membership!

To stay on track with the course, make sure you're getting the weekly Blog On emails by signing up for those here:

One Year Ago: How to Use Styles in Microsoft Word (and Why You Should)

This time last year, our seminar covered how to use Microsoft Word's styles to format your book attractively for submission, not to mention making your own life easier for later edits.

You can get the video seminar here, along with an audio version, downloadable slides, worksheet and transcript:

The seminar covered:
  • Formatting a blog post using basic styles
  • Setting up your own custom styles
  • Using styles to get your book manuscript ready for agents or editors
  • How styles make it easier to self-publish on Kindle
You can discuss the seminar on the forums here:

Chatroom hour: Wednesday 7PM - 8PM

This week, we'll be having our chatroom hour on Wednesday ... and slightly earlier than usual, at 7pm - 8pm (UK time). This is partly in case it suits some Huddlers better than the later time, but mostly because I'm going out to the pub afterwards. ;-)

This Wednesday (22nd), we'll be discussing writing speeds, and whether faster or slower is "better".

You can find the chatroom here: www.writershuddle.com/chat

Happy writing!
