Have you ever wanted to eat Apple Pie for breakfast? Because that's exactly what we did around here this morning!

I was experimenting with the Apple Pie Smoothie Recipe from my new Pantry Pack Club that I told you guys about earlier this month and it was so yummy I decided to whip up a double batch and save it for my kids in the morning.

I put all the ingredients in a ziplock back and just added water and ice in the morning. They felt like they had a huge treat and it was an easy healthy breakfast for me to make. #momwin #kidwin #winwin

Technically these recipes are supposed to only be available to members of the Pantry Pack Club but I'm giving you a sneak peek on this one because it was just THAT GOOD. I hope you enjoy it!

Apple Pie Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups Thrive Fuji Apples (on sale in May)

1/2 cup Thrive Quick Oats (on sale in May)

1 cup liquid (almond milk or regular milk, I used powdered milk)

1 cup ice

1 tsp ground cinnamon

Pinch of nutmeg

Pinch of ground ginger

Optional 1-2 teaspoons of honey or sweetener if desired)

Directions:

Powder up apples and oats, then add all other ingredients and blend. If you have a strong blender you shouldn't need to powder them first.

Best if let mixture sit overnight then blend in the morning.

Not sure how much a "pinch" is? Did you know there are adorable measuring spoons that will tell you exactly that? I'm in love with mine! They come in this cute set with an awesome assortment of sizes.
