Hi ,
Before you start reading my "do-you-see-what-I-see" in the following "stories," I suggest that you take a moment or two to look at each of the images below and notice what "pops out" for you...what do you "see" in the photos?
STORIES – We make them up all the time and often respond to others from the stories that we've made up…coming from our own perspectives of different situations.
Quite often we never check with those who are communicating with us to see if our interpretations are the same as theirs. Frictions and misunderstandings may develop and often get worse as "conversations" and actions continue from our "knowings."
To experience, in a fun way, what I've stated above, I invite to to "play" with what you see...likely quite different from my stories.
The questioning face above is looking up toward the sky, eyes slanted to her right, her mouth is covered. Is she withholding something from us?
Her posture and inquiry differs, as seen below, when the image is rotated. What does she, the personified flower, now perceive as she looks down at the photo beneath her?
She sees a mother looking down at her baby. Then suddenly the shocking thought jumps out, “How can this be my baby? It's a bird!”
What did you see?

RELEVANCY - Can you recall current or past situation where you suddenly realized it's not what you thought it was. If so, what did/do you do?
It you are currently having a challenge in your life with a situation that has you confused, upset, depressed, angry, uncertain on how to be expressing yourself, I'd be honored to explore this with you in a 45-minute, complimentary exploratory session. Simply tap/click on my calendar to set a time. Let's talk!
THE PHOTOGRAPHS - Using my iPhone, I took photos of the above tulips near the end of their “lives”. They were amongst those in a Tulip plant gifted to me for Mother’s Day. During the next two weeks, I photographed, almost daily, the plant from many different
angles/perspectives.
Be on the look-out for the next couple issues of Picture to Ponder/Treasure Your Life Now for photographs of the two-colored, beautiful tulips before they transitioned. In those emails, Facebook and blog posts, I will be sharing simple technical tips and other discoveries that surfaced out of my being in the
moment, exploring with my camera.
THE EXPLANATION BEHIND THESE "STORIES" -
After photographing the above view, the ultimate “eye-catcher” for me was the rhythm and flow of the “leaf” (or part of a tulip that never developed) that is below the flower on the stem on the right.
With this final image cropped out of the large photo, the "baby", or "bird," was no longer present. I was/am simply able to enjoy the rhythm, the flow and the beauty in picture in front of me.
SELF-REFLECTING QUERY - What might you be able to enjoy in your life if/when you are able to allow the “stories” to disappear and be with what's present?
INVITATION - Again, if you wish to explore the "how’s" in perspectives shifting (or, even technically, in relation to photo editing), go to my calendar to book a 45-minute, complimentary, exploratory session. Simply tap/click on my calendar to set a time. Let's talk!

PS – Be on the lookout for the next two or three few mailings in which I will be sharing photos of various aspects of the initially vibrant 2-colored Mother’s Day Tulips, as well as my resulting “accidental discoveries”.
Discovery #1 - I found the easy path back to photo/drawing. Discovery #2 - I also accidentally discovered capturing the “silky” feeling of the tulip petals, as seen in the photos above.
PSS - Remember you can schedule a time with me by tapping/clicking on my calendar.
