"Too many people miss the silver lining because they're expecting gold." ~ Maurice Setter
I imagine that's true.
"Every silver lining has a touch of grey" says another unattributed quote.
That's probably true too. And what is it supposed to mean for us? Dim our bright outlook? Tamp down hope? Or can this too lead us to look for something promising?
The grey is likely to be where water droplets are about to fall, which, when they do, will lighten the cloud and bring rainbows as sunlight shines on the shower.
Colors. We see them in the clouds and say Wow. We watch them dim and darken and sigh with gratitude for having seen a beautiful sunset after living another day.
Let's look for goodness and gifts in all colors and all conditions today.
With faith,
Charlene
