"Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant." ~ Robert Louis Stevenson
We don't need to know when our acts of kindness, gestures of grace, and expressions of caring land like seeds on receptive hearts.
Admittedly, it's rewarding to see positive consequences of acts of kindness.
But let's consider being like the butterfly. As we go about our day, meeting our own needs, we can be spreading goodness, pollinating positive thoughts, and letting our true beauty be seen and appreciated. We can uplift one another this way and make a difference in the world.
With love, beauty, kindness, and hope,
Charlene
* The lifespan of the black swallowtail butterfly is 10 - 12 days. The average livespan for us is 27,375 days, many more than the black swallowtails but numbered, nevertheless. Let's make this day, and all the days ahead, count by using our gifts mindfully and bringing beauty into the world.
