Hi , There’s been a lot of talk about the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The new European law takes effect May 25, 2018, and it impacts anyone who either lives in the EU or has subscribers in the EU. The good news? If you’re using AWeber, you’re probably already doing many of the things required by the new law. But
we definitely recommend that you review your current email marketing practices to ensure you’re doing what the new law requires. To help you do that, we’ve prepared a general walkthrough of the GDPR, including what it means for your email marketing business, what AWeber is doing to prepare, and actions you can take right now to help you prepare for the changes. Additionally, we’ve prepared a one-sheet checklist to help you quickly run through the actions you can take to
help prepare yourself for GDPR. Also, as part of our preparation for the GDPR, we have updated our privacy policy and terms of service. Please review the changes. By continuing to use AWeber after May 25, 2018, you are agreeing to abide by the new policy and terms. We will also be releasing additional Data Processing and Security Terms for our customers in the coming weeks. If you have any questions about the GDPR and its impact on you, please contact our Customer Solutions team. Brandon O.
