Hi there friend,
I love social media, both personally and from a marketing standpoint.
Social media is a great way to engage, build brand loyalty, plus it’s cost effective. Where else can you post content, and then engage with your audience in real time.
Think about when you first started your business, what’s one of the first things you did? I bet it was to create a social media account, whether it was YouTube, X, Instagram, Facebook -
especially if you’re a creator. You need that social media presence to share your amazing content.
There’s a reason why some of the most successful creators, coaches, and business owners use social media to grow their followers.
As much as I
love using social media to communicate with our audience, it does have its downfalls.
Take last Tuesday as an example, I was getting ready to post something when Facebook went down. I’m not blaming Facebook, these things happen. And Facebook was back up less than two hours later.
But what if it NEVER came back up? The audience we spent years growing and cultivating would be gone.
Another frustration I have with social media is when something is posted it will only reach a small percentage of followers 😡. Funny story related to this - my wife manages social media for her company. Last week
she posted content to Facebook but she never saw the post in her own feed. 48 hours after she posted it and it never appeared.
Your engaged social media audience is a great way to grow your email list. Plus it’s a great way to continue cultivating your relationship outside of social media.
But you can't grow that relationship unless your followers subscribe to your list. So here are tips that some of the top social media influencers use to grow their email lists.
