Hi
Â
A few weeks ago, I sent out this email, in which I requested input for a special episode
celebrating 200 sessions of Behavioral Observations. Here was the specific 'ask' from that email:
Â
So for Session 200, I'd like to play a collection of clips that highlight passages from guests that were particularly meaningful for you. And here's where I'll need some help.
In an ideal world, I would love to get the following:
- The Session #'s and guest names of an episode or two that you really enjoyed,
and,
- A specific time-stamp of where a guest said something that was particularly meaningful to you (I
know this is a huge ask, but this will be instrumental for me to clip the audio segment to replay for the 200th show). For what it's worth, I find the search capabilities of YouTube and Google
Podcasts to be better than that of Apple Podcasts, though your milage
may vary.Â
If you're up for this, I also challenge you to highlight less well-known guests who nonetheless brought great
information to the podcast. If I can get enough samples, I'll curate these clips into an episode. I'll also try to include whatever thoughts on those segments that you have as well.Â
Â
Thus far, I've gotten some great input from listeners (Sarah, Natalie, Rob, Alesia, amongst others... thank you!!!). I'd still like to cast out the
net so to speak, so in order to facilitate this, I created this
Google Form, where you can simply input your ideas directly.Â
Â
As I mentioned in the original email, if I get enough responses, I'll do some cutting and pasting to play the selected clips in a special
episode.Â
Â
I would also be remiss if I didn't mention that this idea is the brainchild of my good buddy, EFL Ninja, and Behavior Analyst extraordinaire,
Miguel Avila. Here he is wearing this really cool t-shirt ;-)
