The rate of fatal falls among America's senior citizens rose 31% over a decade, according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In 2007, falls ended the lives of 47 of every 100,000 Americans ages 65 and up; by 2016, that mortality rate rose to 61.6 per 100,000.
