Want to become famous?
Not everyone does.
Some people resist fame, even run away from it.
Fair enough.
But you know what? I'm not saying that you need to be on the same level of fame of a Cristiano Ronaldo or George Clooney... but...
... What I am saying is that if you want your business to become "famous" or have strong positioning, then the face
of the business should also be famous too.
That means YOU.
Think of Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Richard Branson, Bill Gates and others. All founders of their businesses... all mega-famous in their own right... and all have top positioning in their industries.
Please Don't Misunderstand Me...
I don't want you to seek fame simply for the sake of fame. What I mean is that people buy from other people, not from companies... not from corporations... not from generic entities.
That's why I always advise business owners to be front and center on their website and social media. Show your face.
Let your personality shine through.
Add your photo to as many promotional materials as possible. God knows I do (sorry not sorry)! I know eventually people will see me and think "Coptic Chamber." And to be honest, it's already happened numerous times when I've been at outings with Copts I don't know.
I tell you this not in a bragging way but to demonstrate how
powerful this piece of advice is.
A Surprise Meeting
In one case, someone who recognized me at a wedding was standing with a friend of his, and after introducing himself, said to his friend, "When it comes to business, he's the man! When you're ready to start your business, you have
to join the Coptic Chamber."
So what I did I deduce from this encounter? The marketing is working. The image I attach to my social media posts attaches to the brand. Over time, they see me and associate me with the Chamber.
I'd like for you to do the same, if you haven't already begun: YOU MUST BE THE FACE OF YOUR BUSINESS. This is not about
being arrogant or boasting. This is about telegraphing to your customer/client/patient who they are buying from.
That's what your customers want to see, ok?
Until next time...
