Father with a beautiful portrait, painted by the renowned artist, Kelley Ryan. As you can see, His Holiness thoroughly enjoyed inspecting it from all angles. He spent several minutes just admiring it. He even looked at the back and said, "Kelley?" I replied, yes.
I was fortunate indeed that Kelley agreed to this commission. You'll notice the wallpaper design in the background -- the logo of Global Coptic Day, celebrated
annually on June 1st, along with Crosses and frames. A truly unique piece! Presenting the portrait to His Holiness on May 17, only a couple of weeks before the Global Coptic Day celebration, was perfect timing.
