Dear , As Christians, St. Paul teaches us to: "Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn" (Romans 12:15) The impact of this verse is felt more strongly with those grieving. During times of fun and joy, it's easy to participate. During times and sorrow, sometimes it takes a little extra effort. HOWEVER, the impact is
profound and often unforgettable. Case in point: About five years, I attended someone's funeral. He was not very well-known and the service was held in the middle of the day on a Wednesday. Guess what? Besides the two deacons and a few family
members in church, I was the only male in attendance. Yes, the ONLY one. To this day, the relatives of the deceased tell me how much it meant (and still means) to know I was there to share in their grief. Why do I tell you this? Not to inflate my own profile but to emphasize the importance of sharing with the
grief of your brothers and sisters. There are so many blessings for doing this. Suffice it to say, you are comforting someone (or a group of people) who will be deeply appreciative. It's never forgotten, neither on earth nor in Heaven. Until next
time... And, remember, K.I.C. (Keep It Coptic). To read Nader Anise's bio on Wikipedia, go to: Your friend,
