Dear Reader,

Normally I don't let real world concerns intrude on this newsletter. As a writer of mostly funny, happy books, this is meant to be a safe cheerful space. And next week, I'll be back to that. But there's a big thing going on in the world right now and it feels wrong not to acknowledge it.

My heart breaks for what is going on the Ukraine. But the way the people there are responding to this unimaginable tragedy is reminder that heroes really do exist. From quiet acts of kindness like the woman who smuggled a stranger's children across the border to reunite them with their mother to the bold public defiance of President "I need ammunition, not a ride" Zelensky.

They give me hope.

BOOK NEWS

I'm excited to announce that Audible has finally come through! The Wild Prince is ready for audio consumption on the internet's biggest audiobook retailer. A mere three and a half weeks later than its planned Valentine's day release date.

But I'm a glass half-full girl, so I'm going to call that a victory!

The amazing J. F. Harding and Ava Erickson and do a wonderful job in bringing Dominic and Mary to life. This audiobook is over eleven hours of Prince family madness and I adore how the narrators made all the characters come to life. (Including a variety of French accents!)

In other book related news, Tristan got a dog this week. Her name is Molly and she is adorable. I've been feeling very dog deprived since I got to London so the only cure was to write one in to The Bloody Prince.

This is the inspiration for Molly. She is the cutest thing ever.
