I went on an adventure!

Dear Reader,

It has been an exhausting week. Dragon Con felt a lot like going back to school... If I'd been over invested in all my subjects. If the classes had gone until midnight. And if about sixty percent of the student body had dressed like it was Halloween year round.

A Harley Quinn cosplayer. I can't tell you how much I wanted a hammer like that to deal with some of the crowds!

... probably for the best I didn't have one.

The medieval weapons panel. Hearing these women talk was like being in a room filled with real life Briennes of Tarth.

There were some pretty creative costume mash ups there. Like this Rapunzel from Tangled-Captain America fusion.

Me with John Scalzi - amazing writer and awesome human being - who was totally up for taking this photo when I told him he was my brother's favorite writer and I wanted to make him jealous.

Speaking of which -

Hi Nicko *waves* I was thinking of you!

I had an absolute blast. It was so inspiring to see and listen to all those creative and passionate people. And now I'm off to be creative and passionate about the next Prince book.
