Hi! It's David here. I am thrilled to be putting on our metabolic healing course again tomorrow. In this course I spend 6 weeks with DAMY Members improving their metabolism. For those who have had difficulty losing weight and keeping it off the first step towards achieving success is participating in body composition change.
What do I mean by this? Building lean muscle mass improves caloric burn. Period. Now, this course isn't just about getting stronger. It is about how to do it logically and apply restriction (low carb and fasting) to a program where the goal is optimal health and wellness (including weight loss).
What is our recommended path? Progressive overload strength training. Building muscle doesn't need to be complicated. In our program we support DAMY Members to get stronger every 2-4 weeks. This usually means better calorie burn and more muscle mass.
How can we acommplish this? We build a safe program that challenges the muscles to adapt to the force we are applying. This equates to a series of exercises we use with an 8-12 rep protocol where the final few reps are challenging. Overtime the muscles force themselves into growth. Applying this overtime boosts metabolic rate.
