Recently, I received a request for a proposal for a custom designed plate. After some discussion with the client, I prepared two samples as the first step in the process:
Unfortunately, neither the aqua nor the cobalt were quite the color the client had in mind. Luckily, I had created a Color Test Palette for all of the enamel colors, so the client was able to choose the exact color she liked.
Having this tool available saved me multiple steps in the client proposal process, and we were able to move to the production phase more quickly, and the client knew exactly what to expect.
I strongly suggest making a Color Palette, it saved the day for me!
