Last month I sent out a news letter about about creating a template library for texture tile molds.  Many readers requested a photo of the finished example, so, here we go.  Here is where we ended the last experiment, with a Glassline Paint curlicue that we are going to fire face down on the texture mold.



Just to make things interesting, I added a second experiment to the tile.

Using the same Glassline paint color, I added the paint directly to the grooves on the texture tile:


And fired both pieces at the same time:



Post firing at full fuse:



I do believe that I'll make more templates instead of trying to fill the grooves!  Here's a closer look at the texture on the larger piece:
