Float Glass is (in my opinion) the best glass for fusing. It is a blank canvas that can be used for SO many things.
This tutorial walks you through using color enamels to make a pattern on one side of the glass, and adding a texture to the other side. The resulting vase is really quite spectacular!

Oh hey! The Green Glow Goop for fusing is finally available! I'm working up some tutorials right now, but the Goop is ready to ship.
I'm also gearing up for fall teaching, for Salt Lake City residents, there is still a few
spaces in my Life Long Learning class (link below). So far it's a really fun group of people and a relaxed atmosphere. If you are looking for a class that teaches glass and encourages visiting, this one is for you.

Glow in the Dark green glass paint. Works with all coe’s (90, 96, Float glass and bottle glass). 2 oz bottle will keep you glowing for many, many projects! Can be used capped or uncapped. Thin even layers work best, paint until a visible coating is formed. Matures over 1400 F.
22 Ga Nichrome Loops - 50 count
50 premade loops of 22 Gauge Nichrome Wire. Each loop is about 1/2″ long, and 1/4″ wide. They can be squeezed and trimmed to get just the size you need with minimal effort.
Octopus Bottle Bottom Mold
Sweet little underwater buddy for your ocean themed designs, and ocean loving friends. Fits 750mL bottle bottoms, ships with firing schedule and instructions,
2 pieces of already fired mica layers for fusing. These are a sparkly rainbow gold. Each piece is approximately 2" x 3" and multiple layer, ready to separate and fuse with. Mica layers can be cut with scissors, razor blades or torn, and must be capped when fired.

Add to your knowledge of fusing with bottle glass with this advanced class. We will spend time learning how to test for compatibility between different bottle glasses, how to use a variety of inclusions such as brass, copper, silver, aluminium, plaster, raw mica and enamels. This class will build directly on the Basic Bottle Fusing class, some glass fusing experience is
required. We will make a variety of project with our new techniques, including wall vases, plates, glass boxes and lanterns. We will also make a larger Fuse and Fold Animal.

Learn to make all sorts of recycled glass jewelry with Jodi. We'll begin by learning how to make recycled glass kiln formed beads and focal pieces using fusing, casting and other techniques.
