Valentine's Day is coming right up, and what says I Love You more than empty bottles?  Fused glass hearts, of course!

This tutorial uses oval shaped bottles thinly sliced and fused into hearts.

Not sure who needs a heart?

Add to a plate of cookies for a teacher gift, or for a coworker.

Add to the bow around a vase of flowers for a keepsake after the flowers are gone.

Add to your knowledge of fusing with bottle glass with this advanced class.  We will spend time learning how to test for compatibility between different bottle glasses, how to use a variety of inclusions such as brass, copper, silver, aluminum, plaster, raw mica and enamels.  This class will build directly on the Basic Bottle Fusing class, some glass fusing experience is required.  We will make a variety of project with our new techniques, including wall vases, plates, glass boxes and lanterns.  We will also make a larger Fuse and Fold Animal.
