If you are anything like most glass artists I've met, you love tools almost as much as glass!
A while back, I found I needed a better solution for polishing the edges of flat pieces. I needed something relatively inexpensive.
Luckily I had a cheap tile saw that I was willing to sacrifice, and with a little ingenuity, I converted it to a glass polishing tool.
It's quite handy, and I use it frequently.

Thank you to everyone who watched the Advanced Bottle Fusing class onine. It was so fun to hear familiar names. We had a great time learning how to test and mix bottle glass in a
compatible way, we made a chameleon, and a stegosaurus, not to mention learning about many other techniques that work well with fused bottle glass to fill your kiln quickly!

Learn to make all sorts of recycled glass jewelry with Jodi. We'll begin by learning how to make recycled glass kiln formed beads and focal pieces using fusing, casting and other techniques. To add to the fun, we'll be using bottle
glass, window glass, glass dishes and plates, and the occasional broken vintage piece that is just too pretty to throw away! After we've made a variety of glass pieces, we'll create a variety of projects using premade findings, and then moving on to creating your own findings using recycled materials and clever hardware hacks.
