Devit on Fused Blue Bottles
Aren't blue bottles the best?  Everyone's favorite color for sure.  I get many, many questions about blue bottles with devitrification after fusing.  The questions usually start with "What did I do wrong?"

The answer may not be what you expect, many times, it's not your firing schedule, but the glass itself..

The next round of testing will be to solve this problem with oversprays.  If you have a favorite, please reply to this message and let me know what it is!

News from the Studio

There's never a dull moment around here!  Last week was the live broadcast of the Recycled Glass Jewelry class, it was a ton of fun.  If you missed it, consider joining us for the next online class:

This week we are wrapping up the Jewelry Class kits, and working out the production kinks for the Fuse and Fold glass box molds.

For Salt Lake City residents, I have an upcoming class in-studio, Fusing Glass Birds, if you want to come hang out in person and make some chickens.

I also did a short Q & A Monday, where I answer reader emails, if you have a question, send it right on over.
