We love hosting graduates each summer at the Master Herbalist Certification Seminar. These students have finished all 22 levels of the School of Natural Healing’s home study program, passed the exams at the seminar, and are ready to step into the role as the Master Herbalist in their communities. We congratulate them on their success and look forward to their contributions!

Here are a few highlights from this amazing week:

Jo Francks makes herbal preparations a breeze and we all love tasting her delicious concoctions.  

Dr. Earendil Spindelilus inspired us with his experience using Dr. Christopher’s practices and products successfully at his clinic in California. These simple tried and true principles are so important to learn and help us apply Dr. Christopher’s healing principles in our own lives. 

Dr. Christopher Hobbs shed more light on the chemical constituents of herbs and is always able to provide in depth information on herbal chemistry and pharmacognosy. His insights on medicinal mushrooms is a favorite every year. 

We enjoyed touring Wholistic Botanicals, the manufacturer for all of Dr. Christopher’s products. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality really sets them apart in the herbal industry.

Botany with Dr. Leigh Johnson was fantastic. We appreciate his ability to clarify botanical terms and give our students more insights on plant families. 

It’s always a treat to get out of the classroom for an herb walk with David Christopher, the herbs smelled especially wonderful this year in the rain. His lecture on Friday ties everything together and sets the students on a path to success.
