Hello to All My Wonderful Wellness Seekers,
After my recent visit to France, exploring its captivating landscapes, I can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of inspiration. Whether it was exploring the mystical caves of Rocamadour, pausing by the riverside in the Dordogne with a cup of coffee and French pastries, wandering through the cobblestone streets of Sarlat, or soaking up the tranquil oceanic vistas in
Ondres, each experience has been a source of inspiration that I have brought back into my clinic in Jersey since my return on the 4th of September.
Important Team Updates
I have mixed feelings as I announce that Mat is off to university to become a paramedic. His dedication and warmth have made a lasting impact not just on me but on everyone he has interacted with. I'm confident that he will make an extraordinary paramedic. The good news is, he will continue to be
a part of our team during his term breaks and might even handle some online tasks for us.
I'm delighted to introduce you to Isaac, who will be taking over Mat's role on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and some Saturdays. Isaac is in the midst of training, so I kindly ask for a little more notice for your supplement orders to make sure we can fulfil them in a timely manner.
Fine-Tuning Our Nutrition
With the less-than-ideal summer we've had, I've decided to kick off my
Vitamin D supplementation a bit early this year. You might want to consider doing the same. To check your vitamin D levels if you have not done so before, I offer a home kit available through my online store.
Easing Back into the Gym Routine
After a relaxing break, I'm gently easing back into my gym routine, and I'd like to encourage you all to take it easy as you get back into your own routines. If you’re heading back to the gym, start with lighter exercises
and gradually increase your workout intensity. Your body will thank you.
Boomtown: A Festival Like No Other
Before heading to France, I had the pleasure of attending Boomtown Festival. This was not just another festival; it was a melting pot of creativity and a haven for all ages. And with such a diverse crowd, I didn't feel like the 'old man' I thought I might! To see some photos from my adventures I have discussed in this months
newsletter, scroll through both photo carousels below.
Stress and How We Face It
Let's be honest; life doesn't let up on its challenges. But please remember, you're

• Whole grains

Fermented foods

diet.

A comforting cup of herbal tea is the perfect companion for these less-than-sunny British days. Feel free to also browse my personal range.
Stress Less Recipe Spotlight: A Practitioner’s Herbal Tea Blend
Ingredients:
• 1 tsp dried chamomile
• 1 tsp dried lavender
• Boiling water
Instructions:
1. Mix chamomile and lavender in
a teapot.
2. Add boiling water and steep for 5-7 minutes.
3. Strain and enjoy.
Sugar: The Silent Agitator
Avoid reaching for sugary comfort foods that can destabilise your mood and energy levels. Too much sugar can also increase stress hormones, which could become higher now since the holidays are
over.
Gut Instincts
Summer holidays often result in dietary indulgence. Reset your gut health with probiotics and fermented foods.

I am excited to be back and continue with our wellness journeys. My consultations are ongoing, so please feel free to book your next appointment.
