If you've ever done a lowcarb diet, you've probably heard of ketosis.
Ketosis is a state where your body produces ketone bodies (ketones) as an energy source from carbohydrate
restriction.
These ketones are converted from fat - so in essence when you're in ketosis you're mostly burning fat and ketones as energy.
And this is where we create that metabolic shift - your body will prefer utilizing fat and ketones as it's main fuel source. And that means some serious fat
burning!
