Morning my friend,
I wanted to drop you a quick message to let you know what's been going on
Â
For the past week I have been woman down with the most ghastly cold that
has quite literally taken my breath away!Â
Â
My chest hurt when I inhaled and I noticed that I was holding my breath without even realising it so as not feel the pain
of the inhalation...Amazing how the mind and body sync when there is trauma or crisis going on  Â
Â
But in true spirit of being a warrior woman I carried on
albiet in a slower sloth like manner
Â
I took myself off hill walking in this stunning area in the Scottish Borders we're house sitting in. The views around here are just
beautiful, the air is crisp and the hills HUGE!Â
Â
I thought I was going to die climbing the other day as I wheezed my way up to the topÂ
But when we got to the top I felt as if every single cell of my body thanked me for it!Â
Â
Surrounded by silence with only the sound of the birds and the trees swaying in the wind, with the river rapidly winding it's way through the valley, crashing into rocks as it movesÂ
Â
It made me think how we go about our lives trudging from day to day, working, being busy
Â
Not really noticing our environment
Not really even noticing ourselvesÂ
And not noticing how we
actually feel on the inside
Â
It takes effort to focus on yourself, to give yourself permission to apply self careÂ
but if you neglect to make time for you what really is the point in not living life?
Â
I promised myself I wouldn't go too deep with this today, so I'll leave it there for now
Â
The other self care
practice I've been consistent with since I've been under the weather is my yoga, I've got on my mat every day, some days to just be still other days to moveÂ
Â
Yesterday I even went to a face to face class locally to help with the healing process
Â
It was nice to be coached rather than being the coach
allowing me to simply switch off, which is what you can experience when you join me on the mat next week
Â
Next weeks timetable looks like this
Monday 6th Nov - Mind Body Flow Yoga 6 - 6.45pm
Tuesday 7th Nov - Relax and Release Yoga 6.15 - 7pm
Thursday 8th Nov - Slow Flow Yoga 6.15 - 7pm
Saturday 10th Nov -Â Dynamic Yoga Flow 8.30 - 9.30amÂ
Â
If you are NEW TO YOGA you can take advantage of my new members week's class pass which you can make payment for here >>>> https://py.pl/20Lz6c
ANY questions please feel free to drop me a message

P.S. Whilst trying out some local coffee shops this week I met a very interesting lady. There was something about her when she first spoke to me, turned out she is a Pagan Witch, not your usual chat over a cuppa but thought provoking to say the least
