You know when you get that sick feeling when
something big is going down,
whether it's something uncomfortable or exciting you get that sinking feeling in your gut
That was me yesterday waiting to go into our appointment at the Spanish consulate to lodge our visa applications for moving to Spain in the coming weeks,
my stomach was
doing somersaults and I felt a bit queasy to say the least 🤢
I had to dig really deep with my breathing as we waited, which seemed to take forever
Our number was called so I pulled my big girl pants up, pushed my nerves to one side, walked confidently up to the man and introduced myself with a firm hand shake
I had my professional head on, all the paperwork that I had meticulously collated was in the right order and we walked out of there 45 minutes later with our passports in
hand
WOO BLOODY HOO!!!
The reality is that it was nowhere near as bad as we thought it would be, it rarely is right?
The chap who took us through the visa process was very impressed by how orderly our paperwork, he smiled a lot, made a few jokes and put us at ease from the off
He was delighted that I had taken the time to translate our personal statements into Spanish, not a big thing to do but a nice touch he said, shows respect to their culture
So last night we celebrated this new chapter of what's next.....
We are here in Innerleithen house sitting for my friend Sam who owns Lean Greens for a few more days, then heading up North to see my youngest before we head to Spain

It's about letting go of crazy ass thoughts that stop you from doing what you want
