Last night I taught a Yin Yoga class where we focused on releasing tension and tightness in the body, predominantly the hip flexors, hamstrings, back and
shoulders...
If you've ever done such a class you'll understand the love hate relationship you have with these deep intense stretches - and the teacher inflicting them on you too ;-) LOL
I really enjoy the mix between fast paced dynamic flow to this style of yoga to much slower paced class that packs a punch in helping release tension
in the body and helps you sleep
I'm sure my yoga ladies who join me online feel the same (inserts wicked chuckle)
If you haven't tried Yin or Yoga Nidra it's worth giving it a go my friend, especially if you struggle to switch off after a busy day and maybe don't get that good a night's sleep
I actually got a 9 hour interrupted sleep last night after that class...Pure BLISS!
