This week we've had so many builders coming in and out, it's been absolutely manic. Oh and the mess they leave...Let me tell you, it's
taken a lot of deep breathing on my part

Thankfully I have a 'sacred space' aka my little yoga room where I can close the door, escape from all the madness, teach my yoga classes, meditate and just chill the hell out

Being able to create space for me was one of my top priorities when buying a house. That and having space for a hot tub, which is THE best
investment ever, I just LOVE mine!

Sometimes my husband rolls his eyes as I roll out my yoga mat 🙄

In fact last week he said...Wait for it
"There's a hundred and one jobs to do and you do yoga"Â
Imagine how my resting bitch face looked then Ha!

I don't think men really get it, do you?
That as busy women we need to carve personal space for ourselves

My time for me is non negotiable
My boundaries are there for a reason and that's to protect my well being
Protecting my well being helps me keep calm in the chaos so I don't lose my
 💩

Walking in nature, meditation, spending time in my yoga practice all help towards thatÂ
Â
Making time for you can only benefit your mental well being, yet so many women place themselves right at the bottom of the priority list and it has to change my friend

It might be taking
yourself off for a walk on your own
Sitting for 5 minutes in silence without any distractionsÂ
Or joining me next week for a yummy yoga practice
