An exciting day on Friday as we completed on our house sale here in Spain

The process was
relatively easy, although dealing with the Spanish bank was laughable The bank manager literally threw the bankers draft across the desk at us because we wouldn't buy her insurance products then she stormed off and never came back in

Totally bonkers and appalling customer service let me tell you...anyhow moving on
Â
To celebrate the new house we went for a
chinese and a few vinosÂ
I was tucked up in bed by 10 though as I felt totally exhausted
Â
I woke up in the morning absolutely sweating, with a sore throat and a mother of all headaches! I spent most of the day in bed in complete darkness and didn't get up till 3pm
Â
Having planned to get lots done in the new place I might have
'pushed through' in the past but self care is way more important than ‘stuff’ so I gave myself permission to rest
Â
Self Care, Rest and Recovery are all elements of yoga that some people don't get
Â
Like it's not as important as the yoga practices where you're sweating out your ass but it's just as if not more important that you give yourself permission to slow
downÂ
